Time 2 Create : Anything goes with Tando

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Welcome to my second February Tando post and this time it was made for Anything goes week.
So I made this altered heart as my tribute to our mutual creativity.
For me it's always Time to create and this Tando creation is so easy and fun to make!

The heart is one part of Tando printers tray, just one of three and it was used as the base for all other chipboard pieces.
Each and every chipboard piece was painted with DecoArt Crackle paint in the most random way: just add some paint here and there, don't try to cover the whole piece.
Then all acrylics were added over the paint splashes and the paint brushes and the sentiment was added to the finished piece.I used the negative of the sentiment only for this project.

I added paints in a kind " textured way"-using pallet knife or adding a lot of the paint as you can see from this close- up photo.

This is my card made for the new February release with the most gorgeous Happiness Greetings set.

Happiness greetings set #886
First I stamped the sentiment with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder over white thick cardstock. Then some flowers and leaves were stamped around the corners to make the nice stamped frame for the sentiment. The leaves were colored a bit with Inktense pencils tat are permanent.
Then I inked the whole stamped front with Black Soot and Tea Die distress inks from Ranger.
While wet I added generous cover of clear embossing powder to get this pretty look over the card and wiped the ink from the stamped image (resist).
Then some brushable glue  drops were added and glittered over and the same glitter was added over the flowers too.

The embellishment cluster was made from lace, die cut leaves and flowers and added on the corner.

Thanks for being here with me today and go on with the hop!

Frames and leaves with Tando

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Tando Frames and Leaves week.
This week I made an altered Mixed Media project using a lot of Tando chipboards and even used the leaves negative as my background.
Sometimes the negatives are really nice as the background if we use the whole piece and then add the leaves over it.
Under the chipboard background I used Tando stencil to make texture of a kind of a dark wood.
The frame was covered with DecoArt Crackle paint and then some DecoArt Media line paints were added over to color the frame.
All Tando leaves were painted with a mix of DecoArt paints and the only other thing that was added are these green and gold berries.

Love altered canvas with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media canvas post.
This time I decided to make a Mixed Media canvas as this is one of my most favorite ways to show the BoBunny Only you new paper collection and to add more of BoBunny different products.

The background was made in two parts. The right side was made with a piece of thin fabric glued over the canvas and then covered with gesso and crackle paste.
The left side was made with BoBunny stencils and texture paste.
Then the whole piece was misted and painted and some gold wax was added over the texture.

The main cluster was made with mostly hand cut cardstock pieces that were arranged into this composition full of hearts and love.

One big Mandala die cut was added on the back of the cluster and one smaller Heart die cut was arranged in 6 layers on the bottom of the cluster.

Easy to make fancy cards with boxes inside- BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my today's blog post.
Sometimes I get this feeling that a part of crafters needs easy to make projects posts.
It's very tempting to make projects that are complicated and to use all possible tools we have.
But what about the huge part of crafters that just want to make a pretty card or layout with a paper collection and  don't have all fancy tools?
So today I am going to share two cards  (and the video tutorial) for all of crafters who just want to buy one BoBunny paper collection and all they have at home are a craft knife, cutting mat, glue and maybe a score board (also they can score without it too).
So here are two  lovely and easy to make cards with a gift box inside made with Only  You paper collection.

I used both 12*12'' cardstock from Only You collection and the 6*6'' pad, but you can make these cards with 12*12'' cardstock only. The 6*6'' just makes it easier as one of the pieces for the box is exactly 6*6'' size.
The great thing with this kind of a card is that you can really use the small gift box for a small gift or a few candies. The not so great thing is that you can't mail this card in the envelope, but it's a card to give someone in a person.

So here is  each card for you to see.
The tip for this card is to use the collection title (that you can cut from each and every 12*12'' cardstock sheet) as you title.
On this card I just tied the thin ribbon around the gift box.

And here is the second card:
For this card I only used 12*12'' cardstock to make a box, so the 6*6'' pad is not a must as you can see.

I made a small video for you and it's not a finished project there, but a sample cut and fold one only.
Here are the measurements for the card:
Basic card- 8 5/8'' *5 5/8''
Second card layer- you need to make it in two layers as BoBunny patterned cardstock is  not very heavy for the card to stand- 8 1/2''*5 1/2''
You first glue the both  basic card and the second layer one over another and then make the rectangle cut as shown in the video.
Box body- 6*6''. Score on 2'' from each side and them 2'' from the top and the bottom. 4 scores on this piece.
Box lid- 3*3''. Score on a bit (just a bit) less then 1/2'' from each side- 4 scores
Hope you liked this card and as the disclosure this is not my own invention of a design. The web is full with these cards and I can't even say who was the first one to share this design on the web. But it's my very first time to make one and I decided to share it with BoBunny blog readers and it's sure the first one make with Only You new collection.
